Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary Field Service technical advisor, providing technical support both on-site and as a resource for customers and other Field Service personnel.

• Oversee staff at customer locations, offering technical expertise and guidance on various tasks.

• Prepare job quotes and assist with invoicing content, as well as business decisions that impact profitability.

• Manage intricate packages and contracts; investigate issues, customer complaints, and disputes; draw conclusions; and propose solutions.

• Conduct hazard identification and risk mitigation for all tasks performed.

• Ensure effective field service reporting to guarantee proper feedback regarding product or contact issues.

• Support all departmental and company activities as directed by Field Service Operations management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent mechanical apprenticeship.

• 5 to 10 years of experience working with Cryogenic Pumps and Expanders, particularly in LNG Onshore Tank environments and LNG Marine Tankers.

• Hands-on experience is essential.

• Previous experience in writing comprehensive and detailed service reports.

• Demonstrated history of working on-site with customers and leading their personnel during installation, repairs, and maintenance.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 200+ days each year.

• Excellent command of the English language; fluency in Dutch or French is advantageous.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
