Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Provide maintenance, diagnostics, and repair assistance for equipment functioning in Iron Ore mining settings.

• Offer service support to both mining and non-mining clients within the designated territory.

• Execute troubleshooting and repairs on a diverse range of mechanical systems with minimal oversight.

• Keep precise service documentation, work orders, and reporting within company systems.

• Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with company safety policies and industry regulations.

• Effectively communicate with customers, team members, and management regarding equipment status and service requirements.

• Spot opportunities for enhancing reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust mechanical background with demonstrated hands-on experience.

• Proficiency in basic computer systems for diagnostics, reporting, and work order management.

• Capability to work independently and proficiently manage time and responsibilities without direct supervision.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned service area.

• Experience with high horsepower engines (Preferred).

• Background in mining equipment or heavy equipment service environments (Preferred).

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting methods (Preferred).
