This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• This position is tasked with providing exceptional technical service and support to customers in the medical imaging sector.
• The technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of medical imaging equipment to ensure peak performance and adherence to all operational and safety standards.
• Operating independently in the field, this role will diagnose and resolve technical challenges while complying with OEM specifications, industry regulations, and company quality benchmarks.
• Through expert problem-solving and a customer-centric approach, this position plays a vital role in guaranteeing reliable imaging performance for healthcare partners.
• Service, install, assess, and maintain medical imaging equipment throughout the United States.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems and computer components to align with OEM specifications and meet customer expectations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and address complex electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.
• Represent the company in a professional manner during on-site visits and relay customer feedback to internal teams.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and contribute to the improvement of engineering expertise.
• Deliver prompt project updates, insights, and responses to technical inquiries to facilitate decision-making and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document new processes and provide training to end users while assisting with additional responsibilities as required.
• Verify that updates, calibrations, or repairs are performed correctly by executing tests or diagnostics.
• Driving and vehicle operation are essential responsibilities associated with this role.
• Preferred Experience: 3-7 years in medical imaging engineering or a similar field; the ideal candidate will possess Philips and/or GE CT/MR field service experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Mechanical aptitude coupled with robust problem-solving skills, leveraging critical thinking, initiative, and diagnostic capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including clear verbal/written communication and positive interactions with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Flexibility, professionalism, and sound decision-making skills when addressing issues in fast-paced or challenging environments.
• High attention to detail with dependable follow-through, ensuring precise documentation, safe work practices, and quality outcomes.
• Proficient in using computers and related tools, including Microsoft Office, diagnostic software, hardware troubleshooting, and database entry/management.
