Field Service Engineer – AIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute intricate field service tasks with minimal supervision

• Provide outstanding services in installation, maintenance, and repairs

• Surpass customer expectations by foreseeing their requirements

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and take proactive measures to prevent issues

• Independently identify and resolve electrical or mechanical challenges

• Cultivate potential sales and business prospects

• Recommend enhancements to improve operations and customer service

• Oversee field service projects and offer guidance and analysis

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills

• Educational background and experience in Industrial Mechanic or Electrical trades

• A college or university degree in a technical discipline (electrical or mechanical engineering) is advantageous

• More than 5 years of experience in technical field service roles

• Practical experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV

• Familiarity with electrical testing and substation construction

• Leadership experience in managing and directing teams

• Competence in MS Office and testing equipment software

• Valid US driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (80%)

• The candidate must possess work authorization that allows them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
