This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +4 more states.
• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment.
• Conducts a range of maintenance and technical support for products including equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
• Analyzes and evaluates products and their performance.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to resolve issues in the least amount of time.
• Installs, upgrades, and removes products while ensuring coordinated engineering field changes.
• Maintains effective communication and relationships with customers.
• May provide onsite training for customer support personnel.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (United States) is necessary.
• Vocational or technical education or certification (for all other countries).
• Relevant experience in clinical field service or clinical customer support is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, engineering, or a technology field is a plus (Nice to Have).
• Experience with robotics or motion control is advantageous (Nice to Have).
• Previous experience as a Technician/Field Service within the medical device industry is preferred (Nice to Have).
• Familiarity with anatomy, surgical protocols, and medical terminology is beneficial (Nice to Have).
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with technical skills, creativity, and discipline are desirable (Nice to Have).
• Familiarity with commonly used test equipment is a plus (Nice to Have).
• Capability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings is advantageous (Nice to Have).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical issues in an easily understandable way are essential (Nice to Have).
• A responsive problem solver who is action-oriented in addressing customer issues and meeting requirements is preferred (Nice to Have).
• Experience performing troubleshooting and repairs on medical devices is a plus (Nice to Have).
• Ability to apply engineering principles such as electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical to troubleshooting without complete technical documentation is advantageous (Nice to Have).
• Strong English writing and verbal communication skills are desirable (Nice to Have).
