Field Service Engineer 2 – Non Exempt

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Carry out the installation and configuration of intricate electro/mechanical equipment and software systems at client locations.

• Assist with ramp activities by executing installations under both standard and urgent circumstances.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that arise during installation and startup processes.

• Work in conjunction with the Ramp Manager and field teams to adhere to installation timelines and objectives.

• Ensure that all installations comply with quality, safety, and performance standards.

• Conduct system validation, calibration, and testing to verify operational readiness.

• Record installation activities, challenges, and solutions following company protocols.

• Provide constructive feedback to engineering and product teams to enhance installation methods and product effectiveness.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory necessary for installation tasks.

• Facilitate customer interactions during installations, ensuring effective communication and a professional representation of the company.

• Engage in training programs to stay updated on new products, enhancements, and installation techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• At least 3–5 years of experience in field service, installation, or technical support.

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical, or a related technical field, or equivalent military/technical experience.

• Practical experience with electro/mechanical systems, software integration, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity or experience with optics, image processing, or motion control systems is preferred.
