This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Acquire skills to perform timely and precise Preventative Maintenance, FMIs, and/or ISIs.
• Support seasoned field engineers during equipment installations.
• Collaborate with experienced field engineers on fundamental troubleshooting and service repair tasks for assigned equipment.
• Communicate effectively and build partnerships with team members and colleagues.
• Learn to engage with customers to ensure issues are resolved and follow-ups are conducted, promoting customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with customers and suggest value-added services to enhance their operational efficiency.
• Stay informed on administrative duties, including maintaining customer service logs and internal service records promptly, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Proficiency in web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Must adhere to GEHC's standard background check, which includes a post-offer drug test.
