This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Deliver aftermarket parts management support to dealers and distributors, focusing on parts sales, customer service, and overall business performance.
• Conduct market analysis to aid dealers and distributors in developing effective aftermarket parts marketing strategies.
• Perform financial evaluations of dealer parts operations and suggest enhancements in acquisition costs, inventory strategies, and product selections.
• Regularly engage with end customers and dealer sales/service teams.
• Assess customer requirements and devise part sales strategies to secure new business and protect existing accounts.
• Implement current DTNA sales initiatives to boost dealer/distributor sales effectiveness.
• Increase DTNA parts sales at designated locations.
• Provide assistance to dealer groups across various regional boundaries.
• Innovate strategies to shift dealer practices and achieve national aftermarket standards.
• Cultivate relationships with Dealer/Distributor Principals and Parts Managers to enhance acceptance of corporate initiatives and performance benchmarks.
• Uphold dealer commitment to aftermarket parts goals.
• Supply headquarters staff with field insights regarding program efficiency, training needs, market dynamics, end-customer behaviors, and competitive actions.
• Aid dealer personnel in formulating annual parts business strategies.
• Encourage and support dealer parts sales initiatives.
• Create dealer-specific sales and merchandising programs aligned with national standards and corporate guidelines.
• Advocate for and support training programs from headquarters while providing tailored, on-site training.
• Facilitate training and serve as a liaison between the headquarters IT team and dealer staff.
• Act as a technical consultant for both company and dealer/distributor system operations.
• A Bachelor’s degree is typically required.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of pertinent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the field, along with a working understanding of related areas.
• Analytical mindset to independently tackle complex challenges with minimal guidance and identify effective solutions.
• Capability to lead team or departmental projects or work streams as part of larger initiatives.
• Ability to provide management and key external stakeholders with advice on field-related projects.
• Function as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree accompanied by 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of pertinent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Exceptional analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40%-60% of the time.
• 4+ years of experience in OEM aftermarket is preferred.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the country where the position is located at the time of application.
• The final candidate must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• The final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
