Field Sales Manager, Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Field Sales Manager, Performance is tasked with enhancing sales growth, executing marketplace strategies, and establishing brand leadership across Salomon's specialty performance division within a designated geographic area.

• This position acts as Salomon's primary field representative, fostering strong relationships with retailers, driving sell-through, implementing brand initiatives, and ensuring outstanding retail presentation and consumer interaction.

• The Field Sales Manager serves as a vital extension of the Sales Director, collaborating closely with independent sales agencies, specialty retailers, and cross-functional teams to pinpoint growth opportunities, influence account performance, and bolster Salomon's standing in the running, trail running, outdoor, and specialty sporting goods sectors.

• This role necessitates a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial commercial leader who can blend strategic business planning with effective field execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in sales or field leadership within the sporting goods, outdoor, athletic, or performance footwear/apparel sectors.

• A strong understanding of both specialty retail and wholesale sales environments.

• Proven track record in building influential relationships and driving account growth.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting product training and retail education.

• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze sales data and convert insights into actionable plans.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
