This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• In the role of field sales manager, you will formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at optimizing market share among both existing and prospective clients within the Snow & Ice Division.
• You will be accountable for sustaining and expanding business operations for the Snow & Ice Division.
• Engage with vocationally aligned accounts in your designated territory, including OEMs, truck upfitters, end users, and more.
• Gather and analyze market, customer, and competitive intelligence pertaining to the snow and ice sector.
• Possess a strong understanding of technical specifications relevant to truck-mounted hydraulics and electronic controls.
• Familiarity with how municipalities procure products in the vocational truck sector is essential to position the company favorably with these entities.
• Collaborate closely with the Technology Solutions Group to develop customized product offerings for clients.
• Work in conjunction with local field sales managers to ensure comprehensive coverage of all assigned markets.
• Demonstrate the ability to relate system solutions across various functions, including engineering, operations, IT, sales, equipment specialists, and beyond.
• Participate in trade shows as required and assist in planning events for your assigned markets.
• Provide necessary training to customers as needed.
• Assist in diagnosing system issues related to company products.
• Utilize company software and sales programs (such as CRM).
• Complete and submit application checklist documents for quoting custom-engineered systems.
• Submit account applications for credit assessments.
• Willingness to reside within the sales territory and travel extensively is required.
• Travel throughout your designated territory in the United States.
• A bachelor’s degree in fluid power, business, marketing, or related areas; or equivalent work experience along with knowledge of applicable industry standards is mandatory.
• IFPS fluid power certification is preferred.
• May necessitate travel outside the United States.
• A valid passport must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a sales-related role or equivalent industry experience is required.
• Familiarity with heavy truck equipment and/or municipal sales is advantageous.
• Completion of Muncie Power Product and Application School will be required upon hiring.
• Capability to grasp abstract engineering and fluid power principles.
• Strong computer and data analysis skills are essential.
• Proficiency in creating impactful presentations and reports for customers and the company.
• Ability to travel for meetings, site visits, customer locations, and inspections.
• A valid state driver’s license is required.
• Flexibility in work schedule is expected.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
• Self-driven with a curious mindset and a robust desire to succeed.
