This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create and implement sales strategies aimed at enhancing market share and revenue growth within the Snow & Ice Division by nurturing existing accounts and exploring new business prospects.
• Concentrate on supporting and expanding distribution channels, fostering robust relationships with customers and partners, and delivering customized system-based solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to synchronize products and services with market demands while achieving sales and performance goals.
• Manage all sales efforts within Canada.
• Travel throughout Canada to promote and sell Muncie Power products, with an emphasis on Snow & Ice equipment and solutions.
• Propel sales growth by recognizing and pursuing new business opportunities in the designated territory.
• Conduct frequent sales calls and visits to vocationally aligned accounts, including OEMs, truck upfitters, distributors, and end users.
• Organize travel itineraries and arrange meetings with OEMs, distributors, and key stakeholders to evaluate product needs and present tailored solutions.
• Formulate and execute effective market strategies to enhance brand visibility and product adoption.
• Assess market penetration by utilizing leads, market data, and customer feedback to uncover trends and new opportunities.
• Provide technical and product training to customers and partners to ensure a clear understanding of product capabilities and proper usage.
• Participate in industry trade shows and events as needed to represent the company and generate leads.
• Leverage company CRM systems and sales software to manage accounts, track opportunities, and document activities.
• Educate customers on warranty policies and procedures to ensure they have a clear understanding and can manage claims appropriately.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support business goals.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of municipal procurement processes in the vocational truck market to effectively position the company for public sector engagements.
• Provide quotes, proposals, and bid support, particularly for government procurement processes.
• Work closely with the Technology Solutions Group to create customized product offerings that address customer needs.
• Familiarity with the heavy truck equipment industry is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Fluid Power, Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent work experience and knowledge of relevant industry standards is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with a strong ambition to succeed; capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated success in field sales within a B2B (business-to-business) context.
• Willingness and capability to travel internationally as needed.
• Must have a valid passport within 60 days of employment.
