This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Recognize and articulate Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), focusing on new multi-location prospects and existing clients to enhance engagement (e.g., Payments, Tekmetric Marketing, TireSuite, Motovisuals).
• Discover prospects, qualify leads, and connect with them through various methods, including face-to-face meetings and lunch-n-learns.
• Schedule appointments, acquire new accounts, and foster growth over time by offering additional products/services.
• Collaborate with customer onboarding and success teams when necessary to protect initial investments and ensure the sustained value of newly acquired accounts.
• Cultivate robust, in-person relationships, as this approach makes it more challenging for prospects to decline compared to virtual interactions.
• Strategically plan daily routes to reduce "windshield time" and enhance travel efficiency, recognizing that time spent traveling is time not spent selling. Route planning should be conducted in advance (e.g., 2 weeks) in coordination with your manager/leader.
• Implement and manage a defined sales cadence/sequence for prospect accounts (e.g., Call, Email, Visit, Email, Call).
• Collaborate alongside Channel Partner Managers (CPMs) in a POD structure to conduct in-person demonstrations for channel leads, which helps maintain partner trust and shorten the sales cycle.
• Oversee the CRM by tracking and updating all activities directly within Salesforce.
• Record key sales activities to clarify what success entails regarding touchpoints and time to close.
• Monitor follow-ups, manage account/lead assignments, and maintain pipeline integrity.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts to enhance transparency and accountability.
• Extensive documentation of key activities is essential to define activity-based KPIs that foster success and to create a template for scaling up.
• A proven history as a top performer, consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience in the service aspect of the automotive industry (possessing industry knowledge, particularly a strong understanding of shop owners' experiences).
• At least 2+ years of prior sales experience in B2B, with SaaS experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, logistical, and planning skills for optimizing travel and managing last-minute changes to schedules.
• Proficient communication skills in all formats (written, verbal, and in-person).
• A self-motivated approach and capacity to quickly establish rapport with prospects.
• Ability to manage a regional travel schedule from Tuesday to Thursday to maximize face-to-face interactions.
