This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• You will be responsible for selling diagnostic imaging systems (equipment), warranties, and the necessary peripheral supplies for operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Your duties will include maintaining sales forecasts and territory plans, along with managing and collaborating with distributors and their representatives within your designated geographic territory.
• You will have the chance to initiate and coordinate lead generation efforts alongside other IDEXX sales advisors and distribution partners.
• You will collaborate with fellow IDEXX sales professionals in the region to close sales related to equipment and technology.
• Training and support for veterinary clinic staff on products, services, and marketing initiatives, including customer service best practices, will be a key aspect of your role.
• You will ensure you have comprehensive, current knowledge of IDEXX products and services.
• You will represent IDEXX values to our customers professionally, possessing a strong understanding of our industry, veterinary practices, customers, technology, and operational processes.
• Participation in trade shows and other training events in the region will be part of your responsibilities.
• You will manage IDEXX expenses and resources in compliance with company guidelines and policies.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• You should have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience successfully managing your own sales territory.
• Experience in territory sales of equipment (analyzers, imaging, etc.) within the veterinary/animal health industry, human healthcare, or the dental field is essential.
• Familiarity with digital imaging is considered an asset.
• You should be comfortable working as part of a team in a highly collaborative sales environment.
• Meeting the demands of a field sales role, including frequent travel by car (company vehicle provided), occasional overnight stays, and some flexibility to work weekends (as required) for trade shows or other events, is necessary.
• You must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and possess a valid driver’s license.
• As this role involves veterinary sales, comfort working in veterinary clinics and hospitals is required.
• You should reside near a major airport.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time is mandatory.
• Base annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000
