
Field Retail Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Maximizing revenue and guaranteeing customer satisfaction across retail locations within a defined territory.
• Training, coaching, and driving sales performance within the Millwork, In-Home, and Pro sales departments.
• Managing account relationships while providing support for the Fiberon, Therma-Tru, and Fypon product lines.
• Regularly visiting retail locations to foster relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Offering product knowledge and training to retail staff.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for store staff and managers.
• Ensuring that displays, signage, and pricing are accurate and set up timely in each store.
• Collaborating with Pro Sales teams and distributor representatives to enhance awareness.
• Assisting Retail In-Home Sales Consultants to boost Repair & Replace business.
• Effectively planning travel while adhering to budget constraints.
• Working in partnership with distributor partners and internal teams on sales programs and new product launches.
• Providing insights on sales messaging, product performance, and POP materials.
• Supporting customer service by addressing claims and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Recommending modifications to product assortment to align with customer demand.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (preferably in a client-facing role).
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for engaging with people and building enduring relationships.
• Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks, develop action plans, and see them through to completion.
• Coursework or a college degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (Preferred).
• Field sales experience (Preferred).
• Understanding of the sales process and cycle (Preferred).
• Background in the building materials or millwork industry (Preferred).
• Experience with any CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) (Preferred).
