
Field Reimbursement Manager – Immunology, Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide education to healthcare providers and office personnel regarding product coverage, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Work in collaboration with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and other internal Johnson & Johnson departments.
• Act as the reimbursement authority for the local team and a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions.
• Respond promptly to critical patient access and affordability challenges.
• Offer field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with customers in assigned Immunology accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels to better support practices and patients.
• Provide education and insights across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, pharmacy, and medical benefit environments.
• Track product coverage, access conditions, marketplace changes, and stakeholder practices.
• Tailor approved materials, resources, and messaging for healthcare providers and staff.
• Conduct business in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards, completing necessary training.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is essential.
• Experience in account management and/or reimbursement within hospital and/or provider office settings.
• Proven expertise with pharmacy and medical/buy-and-bill benefits, coding, and billing.
• Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios and identify timely, efficient solutions.
• Experience working with patient support HUB services.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Permanent residence in the specified territory is required.
• Experience in the immunology disease state is preferred.
• An advanced degree and/or relevant prior authorization or billing and coding certifications are preferred.
• Strong market access and business acumen are preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that impact pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement.
• Technical knowledge of payer policy and reimbursement components is preferred.
• Proficient with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Must perform work in accordance with applicable ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
