• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding product coverage, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements for payer organizations (including local and government payers) related to core and launch products.
• Work alongside field support team members, such as sales representatives and key account managers, acting as the reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Approach critical access and affordability issues for patients with a sense of urgency.
• Collaborate with managed care colleagues to stay informed about current policies and anticipate future changes.
• Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving in alignment with FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Foster strong, trust-based relationships with customers across all assigned Immunology accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of national, regional, local, and account market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
• Expand understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels to better support practice and patient needs.
• Collaborate with internal Johnson & Johnson departments including marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.
• Act as a subject matter expert on education and insights related to access and affordability solutions across various payer types and plans (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial).
• Conduct business in accordance with the highest ethical, legal, and compliance standards, ensuring timely and successful completion of all required training.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration).
• An advanced degree such as an MBA or a Master of Public Health (MPH) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a hospital and/or provider office environment, with a strong focus on building customer relationships.
• Proven expertise in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits (as applicable), coding, and billing.
• Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes).
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios and identify solutions efficiently.
• Experience in working with patient support HUB services.
• A valid US driver’s license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Willingness to maintain up to 50% travel consistently.
• Permanent residency in the designated territory is required.
