Field Project Manager, Construction Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Lead the efforts in Renovation Management across essential markets in Iowa, Nebraska, and the surrounding regions.

• Direct market operations through on-site analysis, contractor engagement, recruitment, and performance coaching.

• Develop scopes of work that align with client specifications, design guidelines, and the standards of “clean, safe & functional.”

• Manage bidding and estimation processes utilizing the RenoWalk platform or other approved technologies.

• Coordinate and enforce client specifications with local contractor teams, ensuring alignment of capacity.

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle—from the awarded scope through to completion—while maintaining schedules, budgets, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Supervise procurement and approval activities in collaboration with contractors and internal teams.

• Provide monthly operational updates to the Renovation Management leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in REO/REIT construction, encompassing scope creation, bidding/estimating, project management, contractor onboarding, and execution.

• Strong expertise in single-family construction, remodeling, and project management at both national and state levels.

• Advanced knowledge of construction, exceptional decision-making abilities, strong organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in MS Office, RenoWalk, HOVER/EagleView, and related tools.

• A dependable personal vehicle (monthly vehicle allowance provided), a valid driver’s license, and compliant insurance are required.

• Must reside in the greater Des Moines, Iowa area, with the ability to travel up to 80%.
