This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conducting hydrocarbon fugitive emission and leak detection assessments at facilities within the Oil and Gas sector on-site.
• Utilizing cutting-edge technologies to identify and quantify methane gas emissions.
• Aiding in the coordination and navigation to various locations using maps and GPS systems.
• Providing training and conducting audits.
• Leading the initiation of projects.
• Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of equipment.
• Employing various detection and measurement technologies under the guidance of the Team Lead.
• Gathering and documenting emission data.
• Compiling field reports as necessary.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas sector (preference will be given to those with experience in natural gas processing or transmission facilities).
• Proficient computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office are crucial) and familiarity with Android operating systems.
• Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC).
• Strong client communication skills and a subject matter expert.
• Capability to work 12-hour shifts (days only).
• A valid driver's license.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology or a relevant technical degree/diploma; related work experience in hydrocarbon detection and measurement, LDAR, instrumentation, stack emission testing, or a mechanical background is also desirable, though not mandatory.
