This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, guide, and motivate a team of mobile phlebotomists across multiple geographical markets - multi-state!
• Coordinate intricate logistics, including supply chain management, distribution, appointment assignments, and routing to maximize efficiency.
• Evaluate work performance and conduct appointment reviews for compliance, quality, and safety regularly; accurately document all findings.
• Utilize your keen attention to detail to maintain precise record keeping and ensure adherence to all medical protocols.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in phlebotomy; offer hands-on assistance with phlebotomy techniques and technical equipment, including troubleshooting centrifuges.
• Address employee concerns and customer service escalations with empathetic leadership, transforming challenging interactions into positive results.
• Administer disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Conduct interviews and recruit new mobile phlebotomists.
• Effectively and efficiently onboard newly hired team members.
• Complete new hire and annual competency evaluations for the team.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping for orders and patient appointments.
• Lead the interview, hiring, and onboarding processes. Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions with an emphasis on professional development and growth.
• Employ critical thinking and a data-driven approach to review schedules, manage budgets, and approve expenses.
• Address employee concerns and grievances.
• Review daily and weekly schedules for the team and make necessary adjustments; organize, plan, and allocate work.
• Plan and manage a budget effectively.
• Assist with daily customer service and manager-level escalations, including interactions with patients through inbound calls, outbound calls, emails, and other communication platforms.
• Review and authorize team timecards and expenses.
• Provide coverage and travel to perform mobile phlebotomy duties within the designated territory as required.
• Travel as necessary throughout your geographical area to meet with teams and conduct training sessions.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a leadership role is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques is advantageous. Experience with medical equipment (centrifuges) is a significant plus.
• Demonstrated history of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (familiarity with Google Suite is a plus).
• Strong public speaking capabilities with the business acumen to represent Getlabs in a professional manner.
• A disciplined worker capable of functioning independently or within a team environment.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential.
• Proficient with Google applications and open to embracing new technologies.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity in the absence of established systems and processes.
• Proactive mindset focused on identifying solutions for logistics and patient care challenges.
