This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Oversee, monitor, and assess LCC carrier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

• Take charge of LCC carrier management to develop and implement countermeasures and improvement plans, ensuring follow-up with carriers on progress made.

• Direct on-site LCC carrier operations, providing 12 to 16 by 5 coverage for various issues including natural disasters, operational shutdowns, and business continuity plans.

• Develop standardized operating procedures (SOS/JES) for LCC activities.

• Train, educate, and supervise LCC carriers in executing standardized work practices.

• Conduct process audits and lead multiple carrier performance evaluations.

• Generate reports on LCC performance metrics for relevant leadership teams.

• Collaborate with customers to devise strategies for continuous improvement of the consolidation centers.

• Facilitate value stream mapping sessions and create process flow diagrams for LCC.

• Review weekly logistics consolidation center invoice submissions for accuracy and provide first-level approval for invoices exceeding $330K per week and $17M annually.

• Identify annual cost savings of $100K in LCC initiatives.

• Engage in network carrier transitions, which may require weeklong assignments away from home.

• Work across two shifts with LCC Operations concluding at 1830 EST at least one afternoon/evening each week.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics or transportation.

• Proven group presentation abilities and exceptional negotiation skills to effectively engage with individuals and groups both within and outside the organization.

• Proficient in Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs, including MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
