Field Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Monitoring fielded assets, writing proposals, and managing budgets

• Collaborates closely with various customers on training, demonstrations, and customer service visits, along with other operational requests globally

• Engages with Airworthiness & Safety authorities as necessary to ensure adherence to airworthiness and safety standards

• Identifies design and operational shortcomings and advises Product Line Management on improvements

• Works in partnership with Program Managers, Engineers, Business Development, and Product Line Management to involve Field Operations throughout all phases of planning, development, and deployment

• Creates plans and policies, oversees operations, and reports to and advises the leadership team on all aspects related to field training and demonstration events

• Aids in the creation of operator manuals, checklists, FSR certification and currency programs, as well as other necessary internal and external training resources

• Capable of organizing and executing a flexible schedule while addressing urgent customer requirements

• Coordinates with Trade Compliance for international training and demonstrations to ensure regulatory compliance

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Engineering, or Management is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• Over 8 years of experience in Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Tactical Missile Systems operational use and training for both commercial and military clients, including recent operational involvement with SUAS, TMS, or UGV products

• A minimum of 3 years of formal instructional experience

• Preferred military leadership experience in Special Operations Forces, Infantry, or Unmanned Aircraft Operations or maintenance

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and potentially a Top-Secret clearance

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or have asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
