Field Metrology Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct calibration and maintenance on customer equipment, with a focus on liquid handling systems.

• Establish metrology schedules and inspection protocols for specific equipment in collaboration with customers.

• Oversee customer service interventions and travel to client locations as necessary.

• Independently manage working hours.

• Develop trusted relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

• Perform on-site inspections, calibrations, and maintenance of measuring instruments in line with relevant standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: at least a two- or three-year post-secondary degree in quality or laboratory technology.

• A valid driver's license is REQUIRED.

• Preferred knowledge of metrology.

• Experience in volumetric measurements is advantageous.

• Must be highly self-sufficient, detail-oriented, well-organized, and focused on customer service.

• Willingness to travel primarily within the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions, with occasional travel elsewhere in France.

• Frequent overnight stays during the week are expected.

• Several months of training in Nantes, including field shadowing experience.

• The position is located in the Grand Est region.
