Field Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Travel to convenience store accounts within the designated territory

• Merchandise and stock items to enhance product visibility and boost sales

• Create appealing displays and maintain organized shelves

• Keep track of inventory levels and place orders as necessary

• Complete invoicing, reporting, and route documentation accurately

• Foster positive relationships with store managers and their staff

• Efficiently manage the route while working autonomously

• Represent Max Distributing in a professional manner at all accounts

• Deliver products directly to assigned stores

• Verify and count inventory, restock items, fulfill orders, and submit post-visit reports

• Generate invoices for restock orders and ensure timely, precise deliveries

• Maintain product displays and signage, ensuring planogram compliance

⛳️ Requirements

• No prior industry experience is necessary; training will be provided

• Experience in retail, merchandising, customer service, delivery, hospitality, sales, route, or account management is preferred

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

• Dependable and self-driven, capable of working independently

• Well-organized with strong time management skills

• Comfortable using mobile applications, smartphones, tablets, and basic technology

• Ability to lift, stock, and merchandise products throughout the day

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record

• Must be willing to travel overnight at least two nights each week

• Must reside within the designated territory

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally

• Ability to climb and work at heights ranging from 9 to 12 feet

• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch

• Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for a minimum of 3 years

• Willingness to travel overnight up to 30% and outside the assigned area with prior notice

• Capability to complete multiple store visits daily and drive up to 100 miles per day

• Ability to inspect, stock, and maintain merchandise and advertising displays

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Comfortable engaging in professional sales conversations with retail store staff
