This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Represent all KIVA product lines across the complete portfolio.
• Create a distinctive patient experience within a modular footprint to enhance brand recognition and foster customer loyalty.
• Communicate essential information regarding appropriate dosing, nutrition, and the key functions and benefits of cannabis, along with its relation to Kiva products.
• Provide samples and distribute branded merchandise.
• Record all activities and consumer insights/feedback through digital recaps.
• Act as the eyes and ears of KIVA in the field, sharing observations about retail accounts and competitor activities.
• Relay success stories, key learnings, and other relevant activities to your manager.
• Support Trade Marketing events (both inside and outside the retail environment) that are pertinent to the brand and region (e.g., local festivals).
• Engage in the execution of sampling initiatives, reaching patients in their communities.
• Build strong relationships with our retail partners and their staff to nurture a solid affinity for the Kiva brand.
• Conduct training sessions for retail staff on the Kiva brand portfolio.
• Handle credit submissions, simple email correspondence, and scheduling with retailers.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in events, promotions, media, or consumer products marketing is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service environment is mandatory.
• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must meet Kiva’s Motor Vehicle Report criteria.
• Ability to engage positively with the public, representing the brand in an exceptionally favorable manner.
• Understanding of marketing and sales fundamentals is necessary.
• Sales experience and/or knowledge of the cannabis industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is preferred.
• A thorough understanding of the relevant market and surrounding area is essential.
• Proficiency in working both independently and collaboratively is required.
• Access to a computer for reporting sampling results, with proficiency in Google systems.
• A personal smartphone is required for schedule updates, capturing photos, and managing emails.
• Must be able to travel independently within your territory/state for demonstrations and other events.
• Capability to lift heavy items, including tents, tables, and boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle and be in contact with food products.
• This is a temporary role lasting 3 months.
