This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate all aspects of event execution — from selecting venues and managing logistics to overseeing onsite activities and conducting post-event evaluations.
• Assist in the strategizing and implementation of marketing initiatives in partnership with the events and sales teams to enhance engagement and impact during major industry events.
• Contribute to the execution of significant industry tentpole events and sponsorship activations within the advertising and marketing landscape.
• Deliver outstanding client service to Activation’s customers and prospects, acting as a primary point of contact throughout the event planning process.
• Design, organize, and implement exclusive hospitality experiences that complement industry events, ensuring all programs are executed on time, within budget, and with meticulous attention to detail.
• Enhance the Activation customer and prospect experience at major events, from initial outreach to onsite engagement.
• Manage relationships with external partners (vendors, venues, agencies, and media partners) to guarantee smooth execution and maximize value from event investments.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure event activations are aligned with overarching marketing and revenue goals.
• Monitor program performance against established metrics and assist in post-event analysis to evaluate success and return on investment in conjunction with marketing operations.
• Maintain and regularly update the annual industry event calendar and event roadmap.
• Develop, monitor, and finalize detailed event budgets from initial projections to final outcomes.
• Accurately review, process, and code vendor invoices in a timely manner in collaboration with the Finance team.
• Ensure all vendor contracts, SOWs, and W-9s are submitted and authorized before processing invoices.
• BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in event or field marketing, ideally within the advertising, media, or adtech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of advertising industry conferences, sponsorships, and brand activations that bolster marketing and sales efforts.
• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing timelines and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proven experience in managing multiple event and marketing programs concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience supporting thought leadership initiatives and event programming at industry events is advantageous.
• A positive attitude with an enthusiastic and proactive approach.
• Availability to travel as necessary to facilitate event execution.
