This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Create and implement a North America field events strategy aimed at boosting brand visibility and reaching quantifiable business objectives.
• Design and execute tailored marketing initiatives to stimulate demand, generate leads, and expedite the sales pipeline in targeted regions.
• Establish cooperative relationships with essential internal stakeholders (regional sales teams, marketing, content, product, client success) and external partners to design and deliver cohesive and impactful events that align with business objectives.
• Organize and manage a diverse array of events, ranging from intimate executive dinners to large-scale multi-city roadshows, ensuring each event has clear goals, tracking, and evaluation metrics.
• Oversee event implementation, encompassing budgeting, pre- and post-event marketing, logistics, vendor management, and post-event evaluation for regional events.
• Monitor essential event metrics for North America events, including attendance, leads generated, opportunities and pipeline created, and client feedback to assess event effectiveness.
• Analyze event performance metrics and KPIs, presenting actionable insights to stakeholders to foster ongoing improvement.
• Utilize company websites, online content, industry trends, and new technologies to elevate the client experience and enhance event effectiveness.
• Over 5 years of experience in field/corporate events management within a technology, software, or e-commerce organization, particularly focused on North America events.
• Prior experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce industry, emphasizing engagement with e-commerce audiences.
• Proven track record of leading and executing industry events similar to Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail.
• Successful management of event budgets across diverse scales and complexities.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events with clearly defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs.
• Strong grasp of core marketing metrics and their relevance in assessing event success and the impact of field marketing.
• Familiarity with event management tools and platforms, such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event solutions.
• Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success, to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with broader business goals.
