• Proactively engage with technicians and members of the Operations team to effectively achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
• Oversee and assess monthly field production, workflow, and deadlines.
• Recognize potential production challenges and implement cost-effective action plans to meet production deadlines as required.
• Compile weekly production reports for supervisor review.
• Supervise daily production of individuals across multiple states and adjust their workloads as needed.
• Utilize a proprietary website for the efficient management of thousands of work orders each month.
• Assist in the routing and scheduling of work for technicians, evaluating cost-effectiveness and manpower feasibility.
• Develop and monitor technicians’ work progress.
• Manage special projects within the region along with the assigned manpower.
• Serve as the liaison between your team and headquarters to facilitate effective resolutions to field-related issues.
• Offer guidance and support to your team while coordinating with technicians to address any field issues (scheduling, work orders, expenses, routes, inventory, etc.).
• Supervise the development and training of your team.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, HR, Training, Parts, and others to effectively hire and onboard new technicians.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all types of work currently undertaken by Cennox.
• Prepare monthly regional profit and loss statement reviews that detail reasons for monthly expenditures, revenue shortfalls, gross margin percentages, and budget variances.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership abilities and be capable of functioning in a demanding managerial role.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a team of technicians remotely while effectively tracking their individual progress.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in setting communication goals and executing action plans.
• Proven capability to multitask and manage timelines and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer service orientation.
• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with profit and loss statements.
• Familiarity with regional budgeting processes.
• Ability to learn specialized software programs and navigate company databases.
• Possess mechanical, technological, and electrical aptitude.
• Previous experience in the field service industry is highly preferred.
• Opportunity to maintain focus for extended periods while seated.
• Requires 20 to 30% travel with overnight stays.
