• Offer guidance and support to your technicians while ensuring they remain focused on achieving regular production targets.
• Oversee operational costs and attain monthly budget objectives by implementing cost-effective production strategies.
• Actively communicate with technicians and the Operations team to successfully reach monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
• Supervise and monitor monthly field production, workflow, and deadlines.
• Identify potential production challenges and implement cost-effective plans to meet deadlines as necessary.
• Compile weekly production reports for review by the supervisor.
• Track daily production of individuals across multiple states and adjust workloads as needed.
• Use a proprietary website to manage the successful completion of thousands of work orders each month.
• Assist in routing and scheduling work for your technicians, reviewing for cost-effectiveness and manpower feasibility.
• Cultivate and monitor technicians’ work progress.
• Manage special projects within the region and the manpower assigned to them.
• Serve as a liaison between your team and headquarters to develop effective resolutions for field issues.
• Provide guidance and support to your team while coordinating with technicians to resolve any field-related problems (scheduling, work orders, expenses, routes, inventory, etc.).
• Oversee the development and training of your team.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, HR, Training, Parts, etc., to successfully hire and onboard new technicians.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all types of work currently undertaken by Cennox.
• Prepare monthly regional profit and loss statement reviews that detail reasons for monthly expenditures, revenue shortfalls, gross margin percentages, and budget variances.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Must possess leadership qualities and be capable of working in a demanding managerial role.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to remotely manage a team of technicians and effectively track their individual progress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate objectives and implement action plans.
• Proven capacity to multi-task and manage timelines and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with profit and loss statements.
• Background in regional budgeting.
• Ability to learn specialized software programs and navigate company databases.
• Possess mechanical, technological, and electrical aptitude.
• Previous experience in the field service industry is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent relevant work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
