Field Engineer – Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct visits to construction sites to document the progress and readiness for interior casework installation.

• Educate and collaborate with general contractors and owners to ensure they are prepared for a smooth casework installation process.

• Manage access, storage, readiness, scheduling, phasing, hoisting, jobsite regulations, and more.

• Participate in jobsite progress meetings.

• Carry out Quality Control Inspections of casework installations.

• Ensure compliance with Nycom installation standards.

• Liaise with Project Management to coordinate subcontractors for installation and scheduling.

• Uphold safety policies and maintain jobsite cleanliness.

• Organize the delivery of materials.

• Measure field dimensions at job sites.

• Assess schedule progress and confirm sufficient manpower is available.

• Create punchlists and guarantee the proper and timely completion of installations.

• Keep Project Managers informed about project statuses.

• Accountable for delivering each project on schedule and within budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to establish strong business relationships with architects, facilities personnel, end users, and general contractors.

• Physically capable of working daily at construction sites in the field.

• Communicate accurately and promptly with all departments within Nycom and with our clients.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans, shop drawings, carpentry, and managing project closeout.

• Capable of coordinating work with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical trades.
