Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the representative of the PO at RSR locations, adhering to a demanding multi-site schedule.

• Function as a subject matter expert (SME) in RSR for the project office, implementation, and engineering leads.

• Engage in final site planning and preparation activities.

• Offer onsite installation and construction consultation to aid in implementation and disposition processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with over 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with more than 6 years of relevant experience.

• Background in research, design, and development of electrical equipment and systems.

• Completion of formal Radar training at the FAA Academy.

• Previous experience as a Radar certification authority at one or more airports.

• Multiple years of hands-on field experience with one or more Radar systems in the active National Airspace System (NAS).

• Extensive understanding of FAA operational risk management practices.

• Capability to perform effectively both independently and as a member of a small team.

• Proven dedication to high-quality maintenance practices during RSR implementation.

• Professional representation of Leidos to FAA customers.

• Demonstrated knowledge of FAA construction and installation requirements at RSR sites.
