This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of operational readiness for the Pecos plant prior to customer handover.
• Oversee plant performance and uptime during customer operations.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and startup activities leading up to customer handover.
• Diagnose operational issues and spearhead root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives.
• Act as the main on-site field engineering liaison for Electric Hydrogen’s West Texas customer site.
• Address urgent operational challenges to minimize downtime and restore plant functionality.
• Compile reports and deliver updates on plant performance during regular customer meetings.
• Serve as an escalation point for field-related concerns, coordinating cross-functional support when necessary.
• Carry out preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance tasks alongside customer and contract technicians.
• Oversee inventory management, spare parts, replacement cycles, and equipment logistics.
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to enhance spare parts strategies and lead times.
• Ensure proper storage, traceability, and readiness of field tools and maintenance materials.
• Utilize CMMS systems for maintenance planning, work order management, backlog tracking, maintenance records, and asset tracking.
• Monitor plant health and enhance diagnostic capabilities.
• Create and refine SOPs, checklists, training materials, and field service procedures.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of field engineering or similar hands-on experience supporting industrial or process equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in energy, electrochemical, hydrogen, or industrial systems settings.
• Background in supporting commissioning and maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems, spare parts planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, particularly in customer-facing situations.
• Must be based in Texas or willing to relocate to Texas to accommodate the high on-site presence required during the commissioning phase (2026 through early 2027).
