Field Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• The Field Director Services (FDS) is tasked with supervising and guiding a team that includes District Services Managers (DSM), Assistant Market Managers (AMM), Branch Install Managers (BIM), Sales Managers (SM), and Regional Provider Managers (RPM) across a multi-district geographical service area.

• The FDS will concentrate on pipeline management, conversion rates, customer service, and provider management to ensure profitability while providing an exceptional installation experience for Home Depot customers.

• The FDS is responsible for leading and nurturing a team of high-performing field associates, conveying the strategic vision of Home Services, ensuring the safety of all associates, adhering to all regulations and requirements, and meeting or surpassing targets for assigned sales plans.

• Regularly interacts with and communicates initiatives to field leadership, including RVPs, regional support teams, and DMs to maintain field connectivity.

• Accountable for achieving profitability in the designated geography by ensuring sales teams meet or exceed their sales plan targets.

• Responsible for managing escalated customer concerns in collaboration with field leadership.

• Guides field associates to develop and reinforce selling and operational skills as well as desired behaviors through education, coaching, mentorship, and motivation.

• Analyzes and interprets sales (e.g., pipeline, conversion, gross/net/POS sales), financial (e.g., installed revenue, gross margin, operating profit, EBIT), and operational (e.g., cycle time, customer satisfaction, provider capacity, utilization, in-stock, safety, compliance) metrics across the assigned services area.

• Identifies areas for improvement and implements appropriate game plans.

• Ensures compliance with safety standards in accordance with THD, state, and federal regulations.

• Consistently executes Home Services strategy across the assigned services area to promote growth, profitability, and an enhanced customer experience.

• Optimizes diverse talent with a demonstrated commitment to equal employment opportunity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Proven proficiency in predictive modeling, data mining, and data analysis.

• Ability to derive accurate conclusions from financial documentation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Relevant professional experience in Home Services (with a proven ability to influence business), Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, or Sales Training.

• Experience in a retail setting, home improvement sector, or general construction industry.

• 5+ years of pertinent professional work experience.

• Experience in people management with multi-unit or geographically dispersed teams.

• Proven capability to drive strategy and change management through input, delivery, and implementation of initiatives.

• Experience in adopting new technologies and applying them to business applications.

• Experience in evaluating and establishing strategies for multiple locations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
