Field Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete deployment of Anura across various unmanned systems and hardware platforms, ensuring a smooth experience for our Army clients.

• Troubleshoot intricate hardware/software integrations in real-time—be it a networking issue, sensor incompatibility, or an API edge case.

• This position necessitates considerable travel (up to 50%) to client locations and testing ranges to verify our technology performs under pressure.

• Collaborate directly with operators to grasp their challenges and convert field insights into actionable product requirements for our core development team.

• Provide training and support to our users, ensuring they feel confident in operating fleets of unmanned systems using natural language intent.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or a comparable FDE/Field Engineering role (background in Defense Tech or Robotics is a significant advantage).

• Strong skills in Python and C++, along with experience in containerization (Docker).

• A readiness and capability to travel frequently for deployment and testing support.

• A current Secret or TS/SCI clearance is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical field (or equivalent 'battle-tested' experience).
