Field Data Specialist – Travel Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Travel by vehicle or aircraft to commercial properties for accurate data collection

• Utilize 3D cameras, laser measurement devices, and software to document site conditions

• Collect measurements of buildings, locations of sprinklers and HVAC systems, windows, signage, landscaping, and utility information

• Accurately input the gathered data

• Coordinate with property managers to obtain access information and schedule appointments

• Maintain concise yet professional communication with managers and trainers

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or outdoor fieldwork

• Comfort with heights, including working on ladders up to 30 feet

• Familiarity with technology such as iPads, laptops, mobile applications, and photography equipment

• Capability to follow detailed instructions accurately

• Organized, focused, and self-driven to work autonomously

• Dependable vehicle suitable for transporting a 6-foot ladder and for long-distance travel

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Openness to travel out of state Monday through Friday, returning home most weekends
