This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the technical narrative for the most strategic accounts within the territory.
• Facilitate high-level discussions on architecture and AI strategy with CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and their senior technical teams.
• Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops.
• Design and develop production-quality prototypes and custom applications.
• Spearhead complex security architecture discussions.
• Present Sigma's architectural framework and AI runtime narrative to external audiences.
• Manage the technical aspect of challenging RFPs, RFIs, AI risk assessments, and security questionnaires.
• Provide guidance on integration, migration, governance, and AI approaches across Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift.
• Establish Sigma's competitive standing against industry rivals.
• Create the SA and SE playbook along with the programs utilized in the field.
• Transform domain expertise into reusable industry resources.
• Influence product development from the frontline.
• Coach and mentor SAs and SEs.
• Manage multiple strategic enterprise engagements simultaneously.
• Acquire and uphold product, sales, and technology certifications.
• Achieve quarterly and annual goals established by your manager.
• Over 12 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data platform roles.
• A minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing technical leadership position.
• Extensive knowledge in at least one cloud data warehouse: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Proficient in SQL with a strong understanding of modern data architecture.
• Practical experience with ETL and transformation tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, or similar.
• Capable of writing functional code, not just creating diagrams.
• Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and Python.
• Thorough understanding of enterprise security and identity frameworks.
• Regular user of contemporary AI tools.
• Proven history of leading and finalizing complex enterprise sales processes.
• Possesses executive presence.
• Willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
