This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the highest technical authority in the industry, collaborating with CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Salesforce Centers of Excellence at Fortune 500 companies.
• Design and implement our technical field strategy encompassing discovery, architecture, validation, and executive alignment.
• Promote adoption and optimize time-to-value throughout the customer journey, ensuring each deployment results in quantifiable business outcomes.
• Lead executive business reviews, establish governance frameworks, and conduct technical roadmap discussions that transform customers into long-term advocates.
• Affect renewal and expansion results by pinpointing adoption gaps, alleviating barriers, and creating pathways for enterprise-wide implementation.
• Develop standardized technical playbooks for discovery, validation, enablement, and value realization.
• Serve as the most vocal representative of the customer within Product and Engineering, converting field insights into influential roadmap contributions.
• Represent the organization publicly through keynote speeches, analyst briefings, Dreamforce sessions, executive roundtables, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Mentor and uplift technical talent within the organization, enhancing standards for expertise, customer understanding, and business acumen.
• Over 15 years of experience in enterprise software, with extensive knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem (DevOps, release management, data, security, or governance highly preferred).
• Proven experience as a senior technical leader or advisor in critical enterprise settings.
• Strong hands-on technical competence, capable of whiteboarding a CI/CD pipeline, discussing organizational architecture, and debating metadata strategy with top architects.
• Executive presence and storytelling skills that build trust with both technical buyers and C-suite economic stakeholders.
• A focus on achieving outcomes rather than mere activity, with metrics-driven instincts in pipeline conversion, time-to-value, adoption, NRR, and gross retention.
• Experience in rapidly growing environments where playbooks are developed from scratch rather than inherited.
• Salesforce certifications and fluency in DevOps (Git, branching strategies, automated testing, deployment automation) are significant advantages.
