• Perform on-site and face-to-face investigations.
• Assess compensability.
• Set up reserves.
• Record decision-making processes.
• Process benefit payments.
• Notify the State administrative authority.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical and legal professionals to ensure the appropriate benefits are delivered in accordance with Workers’ Compensation Laws.
• Experience in Workers Compensation Claims is strongly preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree or relevant professional business experience is acceptable.
• A state license to manage Workers' Compensation claims is required, if applicable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• A world-class customer service attitude is necessary.
• Proficiency in learning and utilizing proprietary software and Microsoft Office products is required.
• Must possess the ability to work independently.
• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a reliable vehicle are required.
• Regular travel within a designated territory is necessary, although overnight travel is rarely needed.
• Salary is based on location and experience, ranging from $50,000 to $95,000.
• Auto reimbursement program.
• Reimbursement for cell phone and internet expenses.
• Target case load of 60 claims.
