This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Acts as the main point of contact for physicians
• Engages with patients and stakeholders involved in the program
• Informs healthcare providers about the services offered by the program
• Reviews patient records to ensure all necessary documentation is completed
• Takes complete responsibility for the special authorization process
• Maintains regular communication and updates for physicians
• Modifies program components to accommodate the specific needs of healthcare providers
• Registered Nurse (RN) or a related degree (BSc in Pharmacy or other Science degrees)
• Familiarity with the public or private third-party reimbursement landscape
• Bilingualism is an advantage (mandatory for the province of Quebec)
• Prior experience as a Case Manager is beneficial
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
• Ability to engage with physicians and their staff as a reliable partner
• Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with program associates
• Competence to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficient in both oral and written communication in English and French
