This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Calibrate measurement and test equipment (M&TE) according to manufacturer specifications.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions for customer M&TE and calibration standards.
• Implement corrective actions (such as adjustments and minor repairs) for out-of-tolerance situations.
• Update and maintain accurate documentation of services rendered.
• Inform customers about additional services and new equipment offered by Transcat.
• Sustain calibration standards.
• Offer feedback and updates regarding calibration methods and protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in submitting and updating necessary paperwork for travel and administrative tasks.
• Experience in calibration and/or relevant training with commercial and/or biomedical measurement and test equipment (M&TE).
• Self-motivated individual who requires minimal supervision.
• Customer service-focused.
• Capability to engage professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications; familiarity with basic database operations.
• Over 3 years of driving experience with a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Associate degree from an accredited college or technical institution; or 2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.
• Military PMEL training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Proficient in planning and prioritizing a diverse workload and working independently with minimal oversight.
