Field Calibration Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct calibrations following company protocols and relevant standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO9001, AS9100, ANZ540.1)

• Focus on overall calibration while also providing support in additional areas as necessary; show eagerness to cross-train in various calibration fields

• Meticulously record calibration outcomes, ensuring traceability, thoroughness, and adherence to compliance

• Maintain and verify calibration standards, escalating equipment concerns to supervisors when required

• Travel 100% of the time to customer locations, which includes a mix of local trips and overnight stays

• Assist in the setup and dismantling of mobile calibration workstations or onsite laboratories

• Engage professionally with clients regarding service updates, technical specifications, and scheduling requirements

• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to guarantee the timely execution of assigned tasks

• Take part in onboarding and cross-training initiatives to enhance versatility across different disciplines

• Provide feedback and contribute to the ongoing improvement of service delivery

• Adhere to all safety protocols, company standard operating procedures (SOPs), and calibration guidelines

• Help maintain organized, audit-ready calibration environments and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of practical calibration experience in a laboratory or field environment

• Experience with RF/GP calibration is advantageous

• Willingness and ability to travel 100%, including local and overnight travel based on job assignments

• Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and calibration standards

• Strong attention to detail and capability to adhere to technical procedures.
