This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire Onboarding process—from the initial kickoff to a live, secured, and populated Infrahub deployment—then expand with additional use cases.
• Manage a small portfolio of customer accounts: plan monthly engagements, conduct structured rituals, and serve as a trusted technical partner throughout the year.
• Provide technical assistance: triage, investigate, reproduce issues, and escalate to Engineering; maintain clear communication with customers at all times.
• Lead technical discovery and advisory efforts: evaluate environments and maturity; advise on schema design, integration patterns, and architecture to facilitate adoption.
• Advocate for adoption and growth: identify and shape new use cases; empower internal customer advocates; co-present in demonstrations and executive briefings.
• Develop reusable engineering assets—schema templates, integration patterns, deployment scripts, and shared tools—that enhance quality across customers.
• Leverage AI as a daily multiplier: codify prompts, patterns, and agent workflows that expedite discovery, documentation, and delivery; contribute to our internal AI framework.
• Generate and refine documentation and customer evidence (guides, how-tos, reference architectures, case studies); represent OpsMill at webinars, events, and panels; provide recurring field patterns to Product and support the SA team.
• Over 5 years of experience in network or infrastructure engineering and/or network automation, with hands-on experience in production environments.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with one or more of NetBox, Nautobot, Ansible, Nornir, Terraform; comfortable working with APIs, data models/schemas, and GraphQL (Infrahub experience is a plus).
• Demonstrated customer-facing skills: engage deeply with engineers and effectively communicate with executives; convey challenging messages without compromising trust.
• Strong inclination towards action: develop scripts, validate them, and implement solutions; systematic troubleshooting and practical engineering judgment.
• Proactive management of a small portfolio: prioritize, plan, and maintain focus on technical health and adoption outcomes.
• AI-native working approach: utilize AI daily to enhance discovery, delivery, and documentation—and a willingness to share effective practices with others.
