• Conduct inspections and evaluations of damaged properties (auto or home), either face-to-face or through virtual means, based on the assignment.
• Generate comprehensive, itemized repair estimates utilizing industry-standard software (e.g., Audatex/Qapter, CCC One, Xactimate, Mitchell).
• Assess repair versus total loss thresholds and provide recommendations for subsequent actions.
• Analyze photos, videos, and documentation submitted by claimants, repair shops, or adjusters.
• Work collaboratively with adjusters, repair facilities, and policyholders to confirm losses and settle disputes.
• Ensure adherence to all state regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Keep precise records and documentation for the claims process.
• Remain informed about Texas repair laws, material pricing, and appraisal methodologies.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in property or auto damage appraisal, ideally within a P&C insurance environment.
• A presentable and dependable vehicle suitable for daily fieldwork (mileage reimbursement is available).
• Possession of a Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (or the ability to obtain one within 60 days) is preferred.
• Competence in estimating software such as CCC One, Audatex, Xactimate, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Texas insurance and repair regulations.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
• A valid driver's license and capacity to travel within the designated territory.
• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with claims management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
