Field Auto Appraiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop detailed estimates for damages related to both 1st and 3rd party material damage claims.

• Analyze compliance with regulations and fair claims practices.

• Negotiate settlements, process settlement payments, and maintain documentation for intricate files.

• Utilize extensive policy knowledge and support leadership with both formal and informal training sessions.

• Generate damage estimates for material damage losses for both 1st and 3rd party claims, regardless of severity.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage claims both virtually and in-person.

• Perform vehicle inspections and collaborate with repair facilities and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in handling a diverse range of auto claims.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting vehicle inspections.

• Familiarity with CCC ONE or comparable estimating software.

• Capability to create precise damage estimates.

• Understanding of Audatex Estimating.

• Knowledgeable in auto body repair and auto estimating practices.

• Familiar with auto insurance claims and the process of handling claims.

• Active insurance license holders must cancel all existing appointments prior to onboarding and refrain from outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants holding a resident producer license wishing to assume an adjuster role must formally relinquish that license as directed by the licensing team.

• Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working remotely.

• Stable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is mandatory.
