Field Application Scientist, CA Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide customer training, technical presentations, and application support to ensure effective utilization of SCIENION technologies post-installation.

• Act as the main scientific liaison for application inquiries, troubleshooting, workflow enhancement, and field problem-solving.

• Assist customers and internal teams with technical documentation, training resources, and maintain precise records of support activities.

• Work collaboratively with service, support, development, and commercial teams to communicate customer feedback and enhance the customer experience.

• Deliver after-sales customer support throughout North America.

• Foster technology adoption, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to long-term customer success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, microfluidics, materials science, analytical chemistry, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience in single cell processing, NGS, mass spectrometry, medical diagnostics, or biosensor development is highly preferred.

• Excellent scientific communication and training capabilities.

• Capacity to articulate complex applications to a variety of customer audiences.

• Self-reliant, proactive, and solution-focused approach.

• Willingness to travel frequently and assist customers across various countries.

• Experience in a customer-facing scientific position such as applications support, field support, technical service, or customer training is preferred.

• Confidence in working across topics in biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.

• Fluent English is essential.

• Commercial awareness and understanding of business dynamics while maintaining focus on after-sales support and customer success.
