This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Delivering high-level technical application assistance and presentations at client locations, vendor events, webinars, and scientific conferences.
• Conducting BLI analysis on customer samples, focusing on specificity, kinetics, and affinity of biomolecular interactions.
• Offering both pre- and post-sales support, which includes product demonstrations, technical presentations, seminars, training, and customer service during collaborative sales visits.
• Cultivating and sharing expert knowledge through training and support of relevant hardware and software while remaining updated on new assay developments.
• Actively addressing and supporting customer service initiatives and achieving sales objectives.
• Assisting in the creation of application notes and instructional manuals.
• Composing technical documents that emphasize novel and innovative applications, promoting the use of Gator Bio’s BLI Next Generation systems and label-free solutions.
• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies through research, publications, and patents, while collaborating with partners and industry KOLs.
• Providing reports on competitor products and conveying feedback to the Sales and Product Management teams.
• PhD or equivalent experience preferred; MS degree required with a minimum of 5 years of experience in label-free technology, such as Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI), Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), or comparable instrumentation.
• Background in immunoassay development, including ELISA, SPR, BLI, or similar technologies.
• Preferred expertise in label-free technology, specifically Bio-Layer Interferometry or Surface Plasmon Resonance products.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal teams.
• Self-driven, well-organized, with the capability to establish connections and build rapport at all levels.
• Experience with liquid handling systems like Tecan, Hamilton, or Perkin Elmer is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for engaging with a diverse range of internal and external clients are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SFDC, or other relevant CRM sales funnel tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and operate from a remote home base, in addition to on-site work.
