• Assist local governments and private non-profit organizations in their recovery from natural disasters through federal funding initiatives, particularly the FEMA PA program.
• Facilitate the administrative aspects of the recovery program by gathering documentation related to damage assessments, financial data, facility maintenance logs, and other pertinent information.
• Support clients in verifying that their expenses qualify for funding according to the policies, processes, and compliance regulations of the FEMA PA program.
• Collaborate with clients to utilize the collected data for project development efforts, specifically in creating well-structured FEMA PA Project Worksheets (PWs).
• Participate in additional recovery initiatives beyond the FEMA PA program as needed.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience, ideally in management consulting or in a position directly supporting the FEMA PA Program.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, political science, public policy, emergency management, business administration).
• Prior experience with financial analysis and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
