FedRAMP Subject Matter Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients regarding FedRAMP requirements and compliance strategies.

• Perform gap analyses and create remediation plans.

• Support the implementation of security controls in accordance with FedRAMP and NIST SP 800-53 standards.

• Assist clients in developing and enhancing necessary documentation (SSP, Policies, Procedures).

• Prepare clients for 3PAO assessments by conducting mock audits and readiness evaluations.

• Offer recommendations for security controls within cloud environments.

• Ensure that technical solutions are in alignment with security policies and standards.

• Engage in pre-sales discussions with prospective clients.

• Deliver technical expertise and collaborate with account managers on proposals.

• Work alongside account managers to guarantee client satisfaction and successful project results.

• Oversee project plans, ensuring milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP).

• At least 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on cloud security and compliance.

• Comprehensive understanding of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and cloud security principles.
