This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary expert on federal personnel action processing, including nature of action codes, legal authority codes, and the processing of SF-52/SF-50 forms.

• Analyze and apply the Guide to Processing Personnel Actions, the Guide to Data Standards, Government Performance and Results mandates, and the Human Capital Information Model to make informed configuration decisions.

• Assist in maintaining the federal baseline configuration by ensuring that platform design meets regulatory standards across various agencies.

• Evaluate agency-specific configuration and customization requests to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Provide guidance on compliance tracking and maintain audit trail requirements related to personnel actions.

• Aid in data migration mapping, ensuring that legacy data aligns with federal data standards, including the scope of data cleanup.

• Support the validation of requirements, conduct Fit-Gap Analysis, and develop UAT scenarios where the focus is on regulatory aspects rather than technical ones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.

• An active Public Trust level clearance is mandatory.

• A bachelor's degree is required; this may be substituted with equivalent work experience.

• Between 6 to 8 years of experience in federal HR operations, HRIT, or federal HR policy, including 3 to 4 years in consulting or related technology roles.

• In-depth working knowledge of the Guide to Processing Personnel Actions and the federal personnel action processing system.

• Familiarity with federal HR data standards and reporting requirements.

• Capability to convert regulatory requirements into system specifications.
