Fast/GenTax Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Set up the STARS application based on designated job assignments.

• Conduct analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation activities.

• Implement code enhancements and develop solutions for production issues in accordance with GenTax functional and technical programming standards.

• Utilize C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio in development tasks.

• Execute SQR change requests within the FAST GenTax system.

• Monitor changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) in line with project standards.

• Collaborate with fellow software developers on various tasks.

• Engage in structured code reviews and walkthroughs.

• Execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.

• Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of programming experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with one of the following: GenTax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE.

• Familiarity with Fast Core components.

• Proficiency in C#.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of Visual Studio.

• Candidates must currently reside in either the EST or CST time zones.
