Fast/GenTax Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Set up the STARS application.

• Conduct analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.

• Implement code enhancements and develop solutions for production issues while adhering to GenTax functional and technical programming standards.

• Carry out the steps necessary for applying SQR change requests within the FAST GenTax system.

• Monitor changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) in accordance with project standards.

• Collaborate with other software developers on tasks.

• Engage in structured code reviews and walkthroughs.

• Execute tasks with minimal supervision from a team leader.

• Enhance the efficiency and precision of tax processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of programming experience.

• At least 2 years of experience with one or more FAST ENTERPRISES, LLC technology systems: GenTax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE.

• Familiarity with Fast Core components.

• Proficiency in C# programming.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of Visual Studio.

• Applicants must currently reside in either the EST or CST time zones.
